Churchill DownsOver 160,000 fans made up the record-setting crowd at Churchill Downs last year to witness I’ll Have Another’s thrilling victory over Bodemeister in the 138th edition of The Kentucky Derby. This year, our America’s Best Racing Tour will be in Derby City starting Tuesday, April 30 to kick off our promotional events around the Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports. Here is a look at where we will be this week. Be sure to stop by if you are in the area!

Tuesday, April 30: 4th Street Live

4th Street LiveWe will be set-up inside 4th Street Live! in Downtown Louisville by lunchtime on Tuesday and will be there until probably 11pm. The bus will be fully activated within the venue, we will be signing people up for a chance to win four free tickets to The Preakness Stakes on May 18! We’ll also have our TV’s set up with plenty of games, prizes and opportunities to interact with the ABRV Team. We will be giving away t-shirts, hats, koozies and jockey goggles! Wednesday, May 1: Kentucky Derby Fest-a-Ville

Title: Great Steamboat Race

Wednesday our bus will be part of the Kentucky Derby Fest-a-Ville and we will be parked at Waterfront Park starting at around noon. The Great Steamboat Race will be happening at 4:30pm, followed by BeerFest from 5:30-9:30.

Thursday, May 2: Kentucky Derby Poker Championship

While the tour bus will not be present at this event, the ABR Brand Ambassadors will be present at The Olmstead for the Derby Poker Championship which begins at 6pm. It will be hosted by professional poker stars Phil Hellmuth, Jr. and Robert Williamson III as well as former University of Louisville basketball coach Denny Crum. Other notable guests include actress Jennifer Tilly, poker star Josh Arieh, former NFL Star Warren Moon, former NBA star Scott Pollard and Ms. Kentucky USA 2013 Ashley Danielle.

Friday, May 3: Kentucky Oaks Infield

Oaks InfieldThat’s right folks, the infield. While there are some new restrictions to what you can and cannot bring into the infield this year, it is rest-assured going to be the same party atmosphere as it has been over the last several decades.

Saturday, May 4: Kentucky Derby Infield

The week will undoubtedly be long but filled with some really exciting events, people, places and horses!
